Our new application SAEAUT OPC WebView enables easily visualise data from different devices. Communication with a device is provided by an OPC DA server. An appearance of the application in a web explorer is automatically adapted to the actual configuration of the OPC server address space. When using it together with our application OpcDbGateway, you will be able to visualise data also from more devices, even with those to which you do not have OPC servers.07 Jun 2011
We are proude to anounce a new product SAEAUT UNIVERSAL OPC Server dedicated to integrators and software vendor companies. It is, from the point of OPC DA, AE, OPC XML DA a OPC UA standards, readymade OPC server. You can configure (using delivered configuring application ) and program to that your own functionality using standard software development tools. It can be, for example, a communication driver for a device to comunicate with, or whatever software module cooperating with other applications using OPC interface. This product removes a need to develop own configuring application for your OPC server. Creating of your OPC server is easier comparing to different available OPC server SDK’s. OpcDbGateway ver.3.16 has enhanced accessibility to databases using OLE DB Provider for SQL Server. Compared with access to the MS SQL servers with ODBC driver, using of OLE DB Provider is not only more powerful but more universal. Software applications that provide communications with various technological devices, web services, databases, input/output devices can be integrated using a programmed integration application. Programming such application is mostly demanding and time consuming because is should, in addition to an application logic, contain also drivers for all connected devices.

OpcDbGateway enables access to various data sources using different communication protocols including DDE. There are many applications for Windows communicating using DDE or in a network using NET DDE. E.g., Excel is often used in integrated applications. The communications of the OpcDbGateway using DDE offers big flexibility in choosing of visualisation application for an application integrator. The DDE communication in OpcDbGateway is implemented as dll written in C++. The application integrator can modify it according own need and to enhance this way big amount of the configurable functions (not requiring programming) offered by OpcDbGateway. The new version of OpcDbGateway 3.11.00 provides the possibility of connecting external DLL and thus significantly expands the flexibility and usage possibilities. A new communication driver or complex application logic can be implemented through an external DLL.

OpcDbGateway has many productivity tools to simplify creation and debugging of application configurations. Generating of historic trends, it means creation of time data sequence, is one of the most often task in SCADA systems. Our software pakages OpcDbGateway and OPCAdapter have now implemented the new OPC Data Access Interface Specification 3.0. It is the specification of the interface for developers of OPC Data Access clients and OPC servers.
